Self-decking is incorporated. This is the fabric that is applied under the seat cushions. It prevents objects from slipping into the frame, maintains a neat appearance, and adds to the integrity of the piece by maintaining equal weight distribution when seated.
The seat cushions are 4 1⁄2” Foam cores, which are wrapped in polyester fiber and topped in goose down and feather. The frame possess eight-way hand tied spring suspension. This is the strongest, most resilient, flexible, and longest lasting system in the industry. The frame is all hardwood, with corner blocked reinforcements to ensure a long lasting and stable piece.
